MOCCAA® made their first public appearance at the First Million Woman March in Philadelphia and conceded that they had stumbled upon a crucial market, which wholeheartedly embraced their positive message as well as their stylish and upbeat apparel. That day, they sold in excess of 200 tee shirts and 100 hats in less than an hour.
MOCCAA®'s next test came at the annual Black Expo 99, which confirmed MOCCAA®'s ever growing presence was a force to be reckoned with. The event lasted two days, which the gentlemen of MOCCAA® expressed as "a great experience, both mentally and physically." At the end of Black Expo 99, the MOCCAA® Positive Urban Wear™ was almost completely sold out. The experience proved to the men of MOCCAA® what they already knew: Positivity sells!

The Kwanzaa Fest 99 Expo was yet another successful event for the trio. The inspiring message of their clothing line and accessories was uplifting and reassuring, and consequently, well received by the public. MOCCAA® believes in giving back to the community. MOCCAA® has sponsored parties, basketball tournaments, motivational talks, fashion shows, as well as many other events. The men of MOCCAA® have been featured on BCAT cable talk show, BX 12 Cable commercial, HBO's On Hollow Ground Basketball Special in Harlem, and they were a feature story in the popular New York City radio station WBLS's Inner City Magazine.
MOCCAA® also donates a portion of its proceeds to the AIDS & Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF). Two of the founding members, Al Frierson and Bill Foster, having each lost a parent to cancer, maintain a personal interest in supporting research for finding a cure for this deadly disease.
The men of MOCCAA® thank the community for their overwhelming support and encouragement, and hopes that it continues to grow as MOCCAA® and its message of achievement and self-fulfillment for men and women of all colors also continues to grow.
